Well, I know he has been a fan since he was a kid and ‘Star Trek’ used to show on TV in black and white (40 years ago). I could even put up with having him running with the shopping trolley through the supermarket on a Saturday morning doing the weekly shopping ten years later in the 70’s, just so we could get home in time to watch the re-runs (no VCR in those days).

Some of you are aware that I am a producer working on Star Trek: Of Gods and men. What you may not know is that I am also the costume designer as well. I designed about 95% of the entire look of the film where new uniforms and costumes were needed. I also designed the alternate fleet logo as well as the look of the evil fleet ships.

With this year’s election season, one topic has been brought up numerous times. What should we do about ‘cyberbullies?’ It is my contention that this problem is not as pervasive as some would have us believe, and that as an organization we don’t need broad plans that serve to micromanage the actions of our members. However, it is imperative that we come to the realization that as members, we have the most power in preventing cyberbullying.
